Since I was a child I was fascinated by space, the universe and what's out there. For years I collected images, watched footage and read books about it. I even went to Cape Canaveral all the way from Italy. I have the tendency of looking up and fantasise about all the unknown things that are up there. During my spare time you'll find me looking for satellites with my partner. So when I watched the Space x Falcon 9 rocket launching the Crew Dragon and reached the International Space Station; I had to do a painting about it.
I chose colours based on pictures taken by the Hubble Space Telescope, therefore all of the colours were iridescent and used air manipulation. I finished the painting with a epoxy resin coat. Colour changes according to the light and angle.
